Perfect for families seeking friendly service
Our stay was enhanced by how the staff catered to our every need, especially with our little one. They even prepared a special breakfast for us, really went above and beyond, something I didn't expect.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but the experience was worth it.

missingWrote a review on Jul 13elegant staycomfortable bedworn fixtureslack of showercramped lounge area
Located on a quiet street within the city walls, the hotel offered an elegant stay with a comfortable bed in a spacious Junior Suite. Breakfast featured freshly baked bread and freshly cooked eggs, making for a delightful start to the day. While the fixtures had some wear, the genuine character of the place added to its charm. However, the lack of a shower in the bathroom was a drawback, and the small lounge area felt a bit cramped during peak hours.

Exceptional room decor with original artworks creating an elegant ambiance. Walking distance to ancient squares and local dining options, making it perfect for exploring the area. Air conditioning in room efficiently handled the summer heat while maintaining a cozy atmosphere.
Navigating to the hotel within the city walls felt tricky with narrow streets that misled GPS directions. The noise from neighboring rooms was noticeably distracting, making it difficult to relax at times. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, which could leave some guests wanting more variety during their stay.

I loved the charming atmosphere of Palazzo Alexander. The room felt well-furnished and had a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing after exploring Lucca. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, providing a comfortable respite from the summer heat. Breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit, yogurt, and made-to-order scrambled eggs and bacon. The staff members, especially Mario and Roberto, were exceptionally attentive, making sure we felt welcome and taken care of. However, the decor in our room showed signs of wear, slightly detracting from the overall luxurious feel. Also, the hotel could improve its signage. it wasn't easy to spot from the street. I missed having tea and coffee supplies replenished during our stay, which made morning coffee a little less convenient. Despite a few minor inconveniences, our time here was enjoyable and filled with warm hospitality.
